Highway 1 overpass struck in Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — The BC Highway Patrol is investigating after an over-height load struck the #3 Road overpass on Highway 1 eastbound in Chilliwack Tuesday (Apr. 29) afternoon.
Police say the crash happened around 2:45 p.m., when a tractor-trailer towing a loaded flat deck became stuck under the overpass in the slow lane. The vehicle and its load have since been removed to the side of the road.

Engineers are continuing to evaluate the extent of the damage.
