Local artwork featured in upcoming sale at Chilliwack Cultural Centre

CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Cultural Centre could be showcasing work from your neighbours and peers in an upcoming art sale.

“Art from the Heart” showcases a selection of pieces created during some of the Centre’s art classes and open studios. All artwork displayed at the exhibit will be up for sale.

“The student art sale is the perfect place to find those unique pieces for yourself,” wrote the Centre. “Every item for sale is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you will also be supporting local artists. Each item is handcrafted and shows the wondrous results of the many classes happening at The Centre.”

Each item features classes ranging from painting and pottery to writing and photography.

You can visit the art sale on May 2 from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., May 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and May 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. More details are available online.
