Residents turn out for another ‘Party in the Park’ in downtown Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — The heart of the city is pumping with tunes and trucks for another round of ‘Party in the Park’.

Last year’s event at Central Community Park paid homage to Star Wars and Cinco de Mayo, but it’s starting a little earlier this year.

The community celebration still features 20 new and returning food trucks, an artisan market, a dedicated beer garden, local organizations and an interactive kids zone.

Artists like Concrete Jungle and Stilletto are performing today, April 26, while tomorrow’s fresh band lineup includes returning acts Lounge Hounds and Dog Daze.
