The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce the signing of 2007 forward Koby Francis from the Mt. St. Charles U18 program. Francis, from Gatineau, QC, comes to the Chiefs after a successful season where he put up 48 points in just 41 games played. A player with a high offensive ceiling, the Chiefs are very excited to add him to an already impressive group for next season.

“Really happy to add Koby to our mix up front for next season.” Said Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney. “When we spoke to his coaches one thing that was evident is that this kid loves the game and really wants to put in the extra work to accomplish his goals. He is gifted offensively and is committed to rounding out his game. We feel this will be a great fit for him as he pursues an NCAA scholarship.”

“It’s an honour to join a program with the kind of history the Chilliwack Chiefs have built. The winning tradition, the fan support, and the focus on moving players forward is something I’m excited to be a part of. I can’t wait to get started.” Said Francis.

Welcome to Chilliwack, Koby!
