
2 seriously injured in early morning collision in Abbotsford
ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford police are now investigating a serious collision involving two cars Sunday morning, April 20.
At 7:28 a.m., AbbyPD frontline officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Townline Road and Marshall Road. Emergency service workers found a black Dodge Charger and a grey BMW sedan with significant damage.
Both occupants of the Dodge Charger were airlifted to Vancouver area hospitals with serious, life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the BMW was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
“The investigation is in its early stages and is being supported by members of the AbbyPD Patrol Division along with the Integrated Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Service (ICARS),” wrote Sergeant Paul Walker, media relations officer for the Abbotsford Police Department. “The intersection of Marshall Road and Townline Road remains closed as officers gather evidence at the scene.
