Two-week dining celebration begins in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Local businesses are blooming with deals for Tourism Chilliwack’s “Dine Chilliwack” promotion starting today, April 11, until Sunday, April 27.

“The two-week celebration gives locals and visitors alike a chance to explore Chilliwack’s vibrant culinary community and support local businesses while sampling the many flavours and unique fare that can be found throughout the region,” said Tourism Chilliwack in a release.

Participating establishments include Fortitude Wine Bar, Farmhouse Brewing Co., Hugo’s Mexican Kitchen and more. These businesses are part of a “Spring into Chilliwack” cross-promotion passport that diners can redeem for a two-for-one entry into Greendale Acres’ Sweet Spring Flower Festival.

From Wednesdays through Sundays, there will also be guided tasting tours in District 1881. Guests that book their “Chew on This Tasty Tours” before April 30 will also receive a $20 gift card to any local-owned restaurant, cafe, bakery, or brewery.
