Salina Derish

A lifelong Fraser Valley resident, Salina Derish is a sustainable entrepreneur and community advocate committed to environmental and social change. Salina founded the region’s first zero-waste grocery store and a composting business, and she leads initiatives that promote local food security and waste reduction. Her diverse work history, including time as a truck driver, corrections officer and Army reservist, grounds her in real-world experience. She is running to strengthen local economies, support sustainability and build resilient communities.
