Chilliwack farm stand near Service BC catches fire Wednesday evening

CHILLIWACK — A roadside fruit stand along Yale Road caught flames Wednesday evening, prompting a quick response from Chilliwack firefighters.
According to scanner traffic, Chilliwack firefighters were summoned to Yale Road and Parr Road after a fruit stand erupted in flames.
Firefighters told dispatch at about 5:47 p.m. that the 40-foot shipping container/fruit stand was fully involved.
Firefighters established a water supply, and requested RCMP to attend.
