CHILLIWACK — Roughly five months after she captured nearly 55 per cent of the vote in last year’s provincial election, Chilliwack-Cultus Lake Á’a:líya Warbus welcomed the community to her constituency office during an open house yesterday.

Warbus held an open house in suite J4, 6640 Vedder Road, on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in Chilliwack.

“With so many new MLAs elected last October, it was no small task to get us all into offices,” Warbus said.

Elected on October 19, 2024, MLA Warbus was named House Leader by John Rustad, leader of the Conservative Party of BC, on November 19. Today, she says she works to hold the government accountable, leading the CPBC caucus in its legislative business.

“We’re growing into a strong Official Opposition and I’m proud of the work we’re doing in the BC legislature,” said Warbus. “As the legislative session continues on March 31, I’ll be working on both provincial concerns and those local to Chilliwack-Cultus Lake. I hope my constituents will come to celebrate this new era in local politics.”

Warbus thanked everyone who stopped by to connect with her and her staff.

“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us at our office open house yesterday! Your support and engagement mean the world to me and our team,” Warbus said. “It was such a pleasure to connect with so many of you, hear your thoughts, and discuss the important issues that matter most to our community. Together we are stronger, and I am so excited to continue working alongside all of you to make our community an even better place. Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect. Let’s keep the conversation going!”
