CHILLIWACK — Two Fraser Valley disposal companies are set to merge next week.

Mountain View Disposal, which provides commercial garbage, recycling and organic waste management services in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, announced last week that it will merge with White Disposals.

“We’re very excited to announce that we will be merging with White Disposals effective April 1st, 2025,” Mountain View Disposal said. “As a result, we will now be offering curbside pickup along with the commercial waste disposal services we have already been providing to the Rosedale, Agassiz and Harrison areas.”

Mountain View, which specializes in front-end and curbside garbage services for stratas and complexes, said it wanted to make the announcement public to reassure customers that its commitment to delivering exceptional service remained a top priority.

“We understand that you may have questions regarding this acquisition, and we are here to address any concerns,” Mountain View Disposal wrote. “By combining our resources and expertise, we aim to enhance our service offerings and provide you with even greater value.”

In response to an online question from Len Smith about value and service, Lindsay Swindlehurst from Mountain View said, “Hi Len, we are not planning any price increases at this time. As a local, family owned business that is not how we operate and hope you’ll give us a chance to show you our continued dedication to the community and providing excellent customer service.”

Mountain View thanked White Disposals’ current customer base as it works to ensure a smooth transition.

“We wish Gord a very happy retirement and look forward to meeting and servicing White Disposals loyal customers,” Mountain View Disposal said. “Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting chapter in our Company’s history.”
