MP Strahl awards King Charles III Coronation Medal to 20 local residents

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl has awarded 20 residents of the region with the King Charles III Coronation Medal, recognizing their leadership, service and dedication to the community.

The award, created to mark the King’s coronation, is being given to 30,000 Canadians. Each MP could nominate 20 recipients, and Strahl received hundreds of community nominations.

“The King’s Coronation Medal offers a meaningful way to recognize individuals from across Canada who have made a difference,” said Strahl. ““Chilliwack—Hope is blessed with exceptional people who want to give back to the communities that have given them so much. Congratulations to each one of them on receiving this honour.”

Honourees represent various sectors, from community service to local government, and have made significant contributions to the region.
