Chilliwack-Cultus Lake MLA to host office opening

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack-Cultus Lake MLA Á’a:líya Warbus is inviting constituents to an open house at her new community office on March 26.

The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m., giving residents a chance to meet Warbus and her team.

“With so many new MLAs elected last October, it was no small task to get us all into offices,” Warbus said. “But I’m finally here with my team, and we’d all love to meet you.”

Elected on Oct. 19, 2024, Warbus was named House Leader for the Conservative Party of B.C. a month later. She says she is focused on holding the government accountable while also advocating for local concerns.

“We’re growing into a strong Official Opposition,” she said. “I hope my constituents will come to celebrate this new era in local politics.”
