CHILLIWACK — Spring is set to blossom in an array of dazzling colours in Chilliwack as the Botanica Tulip Festival gears up for a return to the Fraser Valley.

Nearly two million bulbs spread across 14 acres of spectacular blooms await visitors to the second annual Botanica Tulip Festival, tentatively slated to open on Friday, April 11.

Building on the success of its debut season last year, the 2025 festival will introduce a newly planted display garden, a whimsical sun-shaped planting of alliums and daffodils, and the largest spring U-pick in the Fraser Valley—featuring ranunculus, anemones, snapdragons, stock, and other beloved filler flowers.

Another key attraction new this year is the complimentary Ferris wheel that will operate Tuesday through Sunday afternoons from April 11 to May 4, offering guests a chance to relish the panoramic views of the vibrant landscape from above. The addition brings a fresh new look to the festival’s already stunning photo ops, making it an ideal stop for families, friends, and ower-lovers alike.

Foodies and flower fans will be equally delighted, with Mapalo Coffee on-site daily and a rotating selection of food trucks including Cachito Mio taco truck and more. The farm shop is being stocked with a mix of returning fan favourites—like Smoking Gun Coffee, Chilliwack River Honey, and Tuscan Farm Gardens, along with appealing new vendors like Janaya Robinson Art and Fieldside Freeze Drying. The festival is pet-friendly, meaning on-leash furry friends are welcome to explore with their humans.

Tickets are now available at botanicaowerfestival.com. Guests are encouraged to buy in advance to secure access and save. General admission for adults ages 16-64 ranges from $15 to $20, children ages 5-15 and seniors 65 and older are $12 to $15, and infants and toddlers are free of charge. Mondays feature a special at-rate entry of $10 for all guests, while “Early Morning Magic” – a limited, pre-opening experience – will be available by arrangement only. The festival runs daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with final dates contingent upon seasonal bloom conditions. Find them at 41310 Royalwood Drive in Chilliwack, just off Highway 1 and Yale Road West (exit 109).
