A social media post at 12:07 p.m. Monday suggests the area around Third Avenue and Nowell Street was blocked off during the incident.

One person named Patricia Sayenchuk wrote on Facebook that she was driving home from school and saw about 16 marked and undercover vehicles and an armoured vehicle with a battering ram in front of it.

Another Facebook user named Caitlin Merchant said, “A couple big bangs, a few pops, and multiple people brought out.” Merchant posted a picture depicting multiple police vehicles parked along the road near the home.
