CHILLIWACK — Hard-hitting blocks, high-speed wheels and jam-packed action are rolling into the Chilliwack Landing Sports Centre next week as the city’s own NWO Roller Derby league goes head-to-head with Portland’s Rose City Wreckers.

“The energy on game day is unreal,” said NWO Roller Derby Board Member Eryne “Dirty” Croquet. “Roller derby isn’t just a sport—it’s an experience. From the moment that first whistle blows, you’ll be on the edge of your seat.”

NWO is a skater-owned league with members hailing from all over the Lower Mainland, including Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Langley and anywhere in between. The league has been growing the contact sport in the Fraser Valley since 2012 and welcomes skaters of all backgrounds and skill levels.

“Whether you’re a die-hard fan or new to derby, this is a game you don’t want to miss!”
