Pizza franchise to open in yet another location in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — A franchise with three locations in the greater Chilliwack area already is poised to open yet another one in an emerging new commercial development near Highway 1.

According to a social media post from Denciti Development Corp., Freshslice Pizza is coming soon to Fraser Gateway Centre at 43949 Industrial Way near Lickman Road and Highway 1.

“Known for their great-tasting pizzas and remarkable success as a franchise, Freshslice is a top choice for pizza lovers and business entrepreneurs alike. Stay tuned for an opening announcement soon!” Denciti Development Corp. wrote on social media Wednesday.

Volodya Gusak, president of Denciti Development Corp., wrote on social media that the new commercial development, anchored by a new hotel, is nearing the final stretch in Chilliwack.

“Tenants are settling into their spaces, and the hotel is shaping up beautifully. It’s incredible to watch a vision from years past come to life,” Gusak said.

Freshslice already has established locations in Garrison, at Cottonwood Centre mall and in Popkum at the newer Rosedale Village shopping centre.

A Freshslice Pizza is under construction on Wellington Avenue, near the Chilliwack RCMP Community Policing office, in downtown Chilliwack. New branding heralding its arrival appeared in the storefront of 45887 Wellington Avenue at the end of August 2024. At last check, it had an orange building permit sticker from the City of Chilliwack indicating construction activity was ongoing inside the retail storefront.
