CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Cultural Centre’s new class lineup is hoping to nurture young people’s creativity as spring break approaches this March.

Through the second half of the month, the Centre will be hosting classes delivered at a pace meant only for young artists.

Kids aged five to seven can explore their creativity through art fundamentals, like painting and crafting, in Young Artists – Art Exploration, while youth from eight to 12 years old can try out more advanced styles in Creative Canvas – Art Exploration.

Tweens more interested in learning hands-on skills can also try crocheting or cross-stitching, where they can create their own personalized bookmarks. But those looking for just a bit of imaginative fun can also sign up for Dungeons & Dragons– a campaign led by an experienced Dungeon Master while learning how to create character sheets and paint minis.

Classes run between March 17th and 28th. To learn more and sign up, you can visit in person, call the Centre at (604) 391-7469, or head to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre website.
