
Abbotsford Salvation Army to host annual lunch and fundraiser in April
ABBOTSFORD — The Salvation Army in Abbotsford is inviting folks to hear from inspiring speakers, share a meal and help raise funds at their 3rd annual Hope in the Valley Luncheon.
Presenters include the organization’s own Pastor and Corps Officer, Major Ruth Gillingham; Centre of Hope Program Manager Al Breitkreuz; and Ian Pollard, divisional director of Emergency Disaster Services. Two Hero for Hope awards will also be handed out at the ceremony.
“This event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the incredible impact we can make when we come together,” stated Major Ruth Gillingham in a release. “Every ticket purchased and every donation made directly supports our mission to bring hope to those who need it most.”
