ABBOTSFORD — Motorists heading westbound on Highway 1 through Abbotsford can expect slowdowns after a vehicle crashed in the middle of the highway Thursday morning just west of Mount Lehman Road.
According to a picture taken by Fraser Valley motorist Josh Donald, a white four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla, incurred significant damage to its front end.
First responders are on scene as of 8:38 a.m. Thursday.
As of 8:53 a.m., Google Maps traffic shows dark red through the area, including several kilometers of westbound traffic. As of 9:10 a.m., traffic back-ups stretch all the way back to Clearbrook Road (exit 87) for westbound motorists.
