CHILLIWACK — The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) has closed all campuses Monday (Feb. 3) due to hazardous winter weather and poor road conditions.
UFV announced that its Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Hope, and Clearbrook campuses will be shut down for the day, cancelling all in-person classes. Instructors will contact students about alternative delivery of course material.
Faculty, staff, and administrators are expected to work remotely where possible and should check in with supervisors regarding online work arrangements. On-campus services and activities scheduled for both day and evening are also cancelled.
The school expects to provide an update on the campus closure Monday evening.
