SD33 cancels January school board meeting

CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack School District has cancelled its regular school board meeting this month.

According to an email from Talana McInally, who works as the executive assistant to the Chilliwack Board of Education, the public board meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 28 has been postponed.

McInally said the business scheduled for the January meeting was postponed in light of the provincial government’s amended budget timelines for the fiscal year.

There were no anticipated action items on the agenda for January, McInally wrote in her email to local news media.
