Langley Mounties searching for vehicle involved in hit-and-run investigation

LANGLEY — Langley RCMP are appealing for public assistance in a hit-and-run investigation involving a pedestrian found in medical distress.

The incident occurred on November 9 shortly after 3:30 a.m. Police responded to the 21600 block of 16th Avenue in Langley, where a pedestrian was discovered injured. Investigators determined the individual had been struck by a vehicle, but no vehicles remained at the scene.

Police have since identified the suspect vehicle as a black 2022-2023 Ford F150 Lightning Lariat edition. The vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to its right side mirror and charging port cover.

“We are asking for the public’s help to locate and identify the vehicle involved and speak with the driver and registered owner,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
