Heart Healthy event to support Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation

ABBOTSFORD – The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation says there is still time to join its annual Step Up 4 Cardiac Health event on Sunday, February 9 at Abbotsford Centre.
Participants of all fitness levels are welcome, whether they’re seasoned athletes or someone who simply prefers a casual stroll. Options include ascending and descending the stairs at your own pace or walking the concourse. Yoga mats are welcome for a calming morning stretch for those seeking a gentler activity.
The day begins with check-in at 8 a.m., a warm-up at 8:45 a.m., and activities running from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Registration is $25, with proceeds supporting heart health awareness and encouraging a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Families are encouraged to attend the event with complimentary coffee and scones provided by Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro. EcoTex Healthcare Linen Service is another sponsor for the event which marks Healthy Heart Month in Canada and raises awareness around cardiac health.
