VANCOUVER — BC Centre for Disease Control says it is seeing an increase in cases of influenza across the province.

The provincial health agency says that during it’s latest period between December 22 and 28, respiratory syncytial virus activity was also elevated.

The agency says the number of health care visits for respiratory illness in B.C. continues to rise, and is comparable to last season.

It says COVID-19 activity remains stable in B.C., but “shows early signs of an increase.”
