AbbyPD pull more than a half dozen impaired drivers off road

ABBOTSFORD — Members of the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) had a busy New Year’s morning locating and removing impaired drivers from the streets of the city.

According to AbbyPD, eight impaired drivers were pulled off the streets by officers between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to ICBC, an average of 61 people die in impaired driving crashes in B.C. each year. Another 1,404 people are injured in impaired crashes.
