ABBOTSFORD — True to his company’s name, Abbotsford resident Jonathan Christian wanted to make things happen after a positive experience he had with the health care system in the Fraser Valley.

As the founder of We Make Stuff Happen, a digital marketing firm, Christian became an outspoken advocate for health care services once he had a cancerous spot removed from his forehead at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

Christian took it a step further and donated $20,000 to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, coupled with a complete re-branding and development of a new foundation website and logo courtesy of his firm.

“Supporting our healthcare system is a priority for me,” said Christian. “Every dollar invested in our hospitals is an investment in our community, our families, and our future. I believe in Abbotsford and want it to be the best city in B.C., which is why I’m dedicated to supporting local businesses and initiatives like Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation.”

In light of his company’s 20th anniversary, he said he couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to give back to the community to support critical life-saving equipment and other programs.

The foundation says it is deeply grateful for Christian’s generosity, which will enable it to acquire much needed medical equipment necessary for delivering exceptional care to Fraser Valley patients.

“The impact of Jonathan’s donation, coupled with his passionate commitment to our healthcare system, inspires us greatly” said Elizabeth Harris, executive director of the foundation.
