Public feedback sessions planned for Skytrain stations linking Langley to Surrey

LANGLEY — The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project is inviting the public to review and provide feedback on the final designs for eight new SkyTrain stations during a final round of public engagement.

Starting November 28, updated station designs will be showcased, reflecting input gathered during the first round of engagement held in June. The designs include details on landscaping, plazas, accessibility features, and overall station aesthetics.

Residents can participate by attending in-person open houses, joining a virtual information session, or reviewing the designs online at engage.gov.bc.ca/surreylangleyskytrain. No registration is required for open houses:

• November 28: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hope Community Church, Surrey
• November 30: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hampton Inn and Suites, Surrey
• December 2: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Coast Langley City Hotel, Langley
• December 5: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Comfort Inn and Suites, Langley

Once complete, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain will connect Langley City and Surrey Centre in just 22 minutes, promising an efficient, low-cost transit option to Metro Vancouver. Trips from downtown Langley to downtown Vancouver will take just over an hour.
