Canada forward Evelyne Viens sidelined by injury ahead of Canada friendlies in Spain
AS Roma forward Evelyne Viens has pulled out of upcoming Canada games against Iceland and South Korea due to injury.
Viens has been replaced by Clarissa Larisey, who plays her club football in Sweden for BK Häcken.
Larisey has one goal in 10 appearances for Canada. The 25-year-old from Ottawa last featured for Canada in a 2-0 win over Mexico in June in Montreal.
Viens, from L’Ancienne-Lorette, Que., has six goals in 36 Canadian appearances.
