‘A Gift Of Art’ fundraiser in Chilliwack offers options for shoppers ahead of the holidays

CHILLIWACK – A campaign combining art with fundraising for a Chilliwack non-profit will provide options for gift-givers during the holidays.

The Chilliwack Visual Arts Association’s (CVAA) “A Gift of Art” charity initiative returns in late November, featuring pieces donated by their artists to raise money for Chilliwack Community Services.

“Our artists are donating their works and offering them for sale at very reasonable prices in our last show of the year,” the CVAA said in a release on Thursday.

“It is the hope of the CVAA and O’Connor Group Art Gallery that you will be able to make time and visit us for what will be a very interesting visual treat.”

The fundraiser runs between Nov. 27 and Dec. 21, with an opening reception on Nov. 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the O’Connor Gallery on Corbould Street.
