Vehicle rolls over, takes out lamp standard near Lickman/Yale Saturday evening in Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — Multiple first responders were dispatched Saturday evening (Nov. 16) after a vehicle reportedly took out a lamp standard and rolled over across from the Chevron on Lickman Road, just south of Highway 1 in Chilliwack.
According to scanner traffic via Kelsey Brown, an administrator who runs Chilliwack Scanner, Chilliwack Fire Department Engines 1 (Cheam Avenue), 3 (Yarrow), 4 (South Sumas), and 6 (Greendale) were paged at 5:15 p.m. after a vehicle rolled over and took out a lamp post/standard near Lickman and Yale. Two B.C. Ambulance Service units were also paged to attend.
Engine 4 arrived on scene at approximately 5:23 p.m. and told dispatch all occupants were out of the vehicle. It’s not immediately known if any individuals were transported to hospital. A Fraser Valley Today reporter attended the scene and saw three young males standing near the accident scene.
