Harrison Hot Springs set to host seven weeks of holiday ‘Lights by the Lake’
HARRISON HOT SPRINGS – Santa, Skating, and the Jingle Paws Pet Parade will feature when the annual Lights by the Lake holiday display in Harrison Hot Springs kicks off next Saturday.
Opening ceremonies between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. will see village displays across two kilometres of the lakefront promenade lit up with Christmas lights.
The kickoff event on Nov. 23 also has meet-ups with Santa and Sasquatch, free hot chocolate, live music, and the annual countdown to switching on the lights.
The night will conclude with fireworks. However, the Lights by the Lake will remain until Jan. 12, anchored by decorated storefronts, Christmas trees, and old-fashioned lamps in the village square.
