UPDATE 3:55 P.M. WEDNESDAY: A Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson says RCMP members responded to an assault with a weapon call in the area of AD Rundle. Members attended the area and out of precaution, advised school staff to hold and secure. Police quickly determined that the assault occurred at another location nowhere near the school. School staff were advised the hold and secure was not required. Third party reporting had provided the wrong location of the occurrence, according to RCMP spokesperson Deborah Sargent.
