Broken gas line closes Townshipline Road in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD – A damaged gas line summoned emergency services to a rural location in northwest Abbotsford on Sunday afternoon.

Abbotsford police say the broken gas line on Townshipline Road led to the closure of the road between Bradner and Lefeuvre just before noon.

“Please plan an alternate route to avoid traffic delays,” the APD said in a social media post.

Crews have not provided an estimated time for completing the repair.
