Sinkhole in Hope Slows Highway 1 Traffic, Closes Eastbound Lanes

HOPE – Road crews were dispatched to Highway 1 in Hope after a sinkhole emerged on the roadway near Flood Hope Road.

DriveBC says a “geotechnical investigation” and maintenance are underway to repair the affected thoroughfare.

Eastbound traffic is still moving via the Flood Hope Road exit toward Klassen Road.
