One person sent to hospital following van crash near gas station in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK – One person was transported to hospital after a van crashed near the Canco gas station at Yale Road and Hocking Avenue in Chilliwack.

A BC Emergency Health Services spokesperson says paramedics were called out to a “motor vehicle incident” just after 6 p.m. on Friday.

Chilliwack RCMP is on scene at the Canco gas station at Yale Road and Hocking Avenue after a work vehicle hopped the curb Friday night at approximately 7 p.m. A witness says the service van may have struck a sign near Canco. pic.twitter.com/8wZbZn3Cwq

Primary care paramedics treated one patient at the scene and subsequently transported them to hospital, BCEHS said in an email.
