Pedestrian rushed to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK – Paramedics transported one person to the hospital after an incident involving a vehicle on First Avenue and Cheam Avenue in Chilliwack.

A spokesperson with BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) said advanced care paramedics were dispatched to the scene, just east of Yale Road, around 9:45 a.m. on Friday.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to the hospital,” BCEHS stated.

Fraser Valley Today has reached out to the RCMP for further details but has yet to receive a reply as of the publishing of this story.

Paramedics did not reveal the gender, age or the nature of the person’s injuries but did say they were sent to hospital in stable condition.
