1 dead after collision in Surrey involving vehicle, pedestrian: RCMP

SURREY – A pedestrian has died following a collision involving a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Surrey, according to the RCMP.
Collision investigators say the incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 128th Street and 76th Avenue.
“Despite lifesaving efforts, the person was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a statement.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
