Portion of Highway 7 in Maple Ridge closed due to flooding: Drive BC
MAPLE RIDGE – Crews have closed a portion of Highway 7 (Lougheed Highway) near 287 Street in Maple Ridge due to flooding.
Drive BC says travellers can expect delays between St. Anthony’s Way and 287 for at least a couple of hours while attempts are made to alleviate the flooding.
An update is expected to be issued by the Ministry of Transportation early Saturday afternoon.
Environment Canada issued a rainfall and wind warning for the Maple Ridge area on Friday, suggesting that the inclement weather would disrupt activities throughout the weekend.
