BC Conservative Banman wins Abbotsford South

ABBOTSFORD — Bruce Banman of the BC Conservative party has been returned to Victoria as the victorious candidate in the Abbotsford South riding. Banman was one of the first members of the BC United Party to jump ship to the Conservatives.
With ballots still to be counted, Banman has collected more than 60 per cent of the vote to easily outdistance Sarah Kooner of the BC NDP. Amandeep Singh, an independent candidate, finished a distant third.
