MISSION – The corporation that spurs on revitalization projects in Mission has its inaugural Chief Executive Officer.

The city has appointed Stacey Crawford as the CEO of Mission Bridgehead Investment Corporation, stating he will drive the entity’s strategic vision, which includes a Waterfront Revitalization Initiative.

“After a very careful recruiting process, it became clear to the entire Bridgehead Board that the best person for the role of CEO was already a part of our team,” City Of Mission mayor Paul Horn said.

“No one knows Mission’s economic landscape like Stacey and no candidate could match his longstanding record of establishing great business relationships and opportunities.”

Crawford is transitioning from his post as the Chief Operating Officer of Bridgehead and has previous experience as the city’s Director of Economic Development, a job he took on in 2009.

He’s also served on several boards, including the University of the Fraser Valley, the BC Economic Development Association, and recently completed a 12-year term with Prospera Credit Union.

“This role represents a remarkable opportunity to drive initiatives that will create lasting, positive impacts for the City of Mission,” said Crawford.

“I am excited to collaborate with our community partners and key stakeholders to facilitate transformative projects that not only enhance our city’s vibrancy but also support sustainable growth for generations to come.”

As part of his portfolio with Bridgehead, he is also expected to facilitate the re-development of underutilized industrial lands.
