CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Restorative Justice invites the community to attend its annual general meeting next week where the non-profit will discuss its progress, program and personnel updates, and delve into its vision for the future.

The AGM happens Monday, October 7 at 7 p.m. at Vineyard Community Centre, located at 45892 Wellington Avenue in downtown Chilliwack.

CRJ says it values community support and input as part of its ongoing success and would be honoured to have community members attend.

The keynote speaker will be Salvina Sharp, District Principal of Learning Services for Chilliwack School District. Sharp will present insights into the important role that restorative practices in education play and discuss their impact on community well-being.

“We hope you can attend this important event as we celebrate our achievements and look ahead to continuing our work in fostering a safer and more compassionate community,” Chilliwack Restorative Justice wrote in an event announcement.

Light refreshments will be served, and there will be opportunities for networking with community members and partners. If you have any questions or need further details, feel free to reach out to CRJ at info@restoringjustice.ca (Kate).
