Abbotsford Canucks announce seasonal hiring campaign for multiple positions
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Canucks are looking to hire a whole lot of Fraser Valley residents for multiple positions ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The Canucks invite people who are looking for seasonal employment to join them next week Tuesday, September 10 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Abbotsford Centre, Gate 1, located at 33800 King Road in Abbotsford.
As posted on social media by the Abby Canucks, prospective employees are asked to bring a resume, photo identification and appropriate attire as hiring managers will be interviewing job candidates.
The Canucks are looking to fill the following part-time, hourly, events-based positions: Concession attendants working at food and beverage stations; stand leads to oversee the overall service and operations at a concourse stand; premium bartenders; ice team members to help assist with on-ice activities; warehouse leads to assist the food and beverage warehouse operations at Abbotsford Centre before, during and after the game; conversion crew members (graveyard shift) to set up and dismantle hockey games in order to convert the arena to a concert or other venue; stewards who clean and maintain all food and beverage wares as required within the hospitality environment as well as cleaning floors and disposing of garbage during and after events; premium supervisors, culinary supervisors and concession cooks. They are also looking for full-time retail supervisors.
