RCMP seeking wanted woman who may be in B.C.’s Lower Mainland; suspect looks different than her LinkedIn profile

CHILLIWACK — The B.C. RCMP is asking people to be on the lookout for a woman who is wanted by police on multiple criminal charges and is suspected of being in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.

According to a public safety bulletin published by the B.C. RCMP, provincial Mounties say Lia Rae Lajoie is believed to be in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Her age was not disclosed by police.

Lajoie, described as 5’6″ and 165 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes, is wanted for trafficking in substance (cocaine), possession for the purpose of trafficking, conspiring to commit an indictable offence, failing to comply with undertaking condition, smuggling into Canada and smuggling out of Canada.

Police are asking the public not to approach her but to contact them immediately.

A woman with the name of Lia Lajoie in Cornwall, Ontario appears in a LinkedIn profile where it lists her as the owner of Lunatic Fringe Live.
