UPDATE: Langley RCMP report their investigation led officers to a nearby address where a 22-year-old Langley man was taken into custody without incident. The suspect vehicle, a blue Infiniti G35 was also recovered.

Mounties also expressed their gratitude to a number of members of the public who came to the aid of the officer following the incident. “Given the egregiousness of his injuries, our officer’s fate likely could have been far worse if it had not been for the kindness of those who helped. It proved to us once again how lucky we are to live and work in this community,” says Officer in Charge of Langley RCMP, Superintendent Adrian Marsden.
