LANGLEY — The Christian Labour Association of Canada, representing over 60,000 workers in virtually every sector of the economy, says Local 68 members employed by Hall Mechanical Services based in Langley have voted overwhelmingly in favour of approving their first collective agreement.

According to a news release dated July 16 from CLAC, members of Local 68 voted 84 per cent in support of the labour agreement with Hall Mechanical.

CLAC says the new three-year contract provides members with 13 percent wage increases over the term, increased employer-paid and matching contributions to retirement savings, and an enhanced employer-paid benefits plan.

“Hall Mechanical Services is the latest group from the Hall Group of Companies to join CLAC,” says Jamie Wade, representative. “The working relationship between the union, the members, and the company is proactive and collaborative, leading to an excellent work environment. It’s great to have this group on board!”
