Investigators Kylie Thiessen and Cory Johansen can be reached via email at kylie.thiessen@abbypd.ca and cory.johansen@abbypd.ca, respectively.

As the investigation continues, the AbbyPD Crime Reduction Unit has issued several crime prevention tips to help residents protect their homes during the summer months. They emphasize the importance of maintaining vigilance, especially when doors and windows may be left open due to warmer weather. Even when at home, residents are advised to keep doors and windows locked to prevent unauthorized entry.

The police also advise caution when dealing with individuals who claim to be service providers, such as delivery drivers or utility workers. Residents should always ask for identification and should not allow anyone into their homes unless their presence has been verified. If there are any suspicions about someone’s legitimacy, the public is urged to contact the police before allowing them onto their property.
