ABBOTSFORD — The American Hockey League has released its 2024-25 regular season schedule, setting the stage for the Abbotsford Canucks’ campaign. The Canucks will kick off their season on the road with a two-game set against the Calgary Wranglers on Friday, October 11, before heading to Loveland, Colorado, to face the Colorado Eagles on October 18 and 19.

Abbotsford’s home opener is slated for Friday, October 25, at 7 p.m., when they host the San Diego Gulls. The matchup will be part of a two-game home series, followed by two games against the Tucson Roadrunners on October 29 and 30, with both games starting at 7 p.m.

Of Abbotsford’s 72 games, 64 will be played against Pacific Division opponents, while the remaining eight will be against the Manitoba Moose and the Laval Rocket. The Calgary Wranglers will be a familiar foe, facing Abbotsford more frequently than any other team. Abbotsford will host the Wranglers in three two-game sets, including their final two home games of the season on April 11 and 12.

The Canucks will play six Sunday home games. All of the Sunday games will begin at 4 p.m. to allow families to attend and be home at a decent hour for the return to school Monday morning.
