CHILLIWACK — BC EHS, Chilliwack Search and Rescue, and Cultus Lake Fire have been dispatched Saturday just before 5 p.m. for an apparent quad rollover and entrapment on, or near, Vedder Mountain Forest Service Road beyond Parmenter Road in Chilliwack.

According to scanner traffic, a male suffered an undisclosed leg injury in the quad rollover down an embankment. There may have been a 20-foot fall involved, but this has not been corroborated by authorities, only heard over the scanner.

A helicopter landing zone was reportedly established at Cultus Lake Community School.

The BC EHS air ambulance has tried to land three times at Cultus Lake Community School, according to a nearby witness.
