Westbow to host free outdoor movie nights this summer, open to the public, in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — The developer behind the new Cedarbrook development not far from the base of Chilliwack Mountain will host a series of free outdoor movie nights starting next week.

According to a Facebook post from Westbow, the public is welcome to attend the first outdoor movie night next Saturday, June 29 at Cedarbrook Park, 45434 Willowstream Road, in the Cedarbrook development.

The first featured movie is “The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023).” The movie will begin at 8 p.m. around dusk. Entry is free, and there will be snacks for purchase, including a Kona Ice truck that will offer sweet frozen treats.

Future outdoor movie nights will feature School of Rock (Saturday, July 6), Monsters Inc. (Saturday, July 20) and Barbie (Saturday, August 31).

Attendees are kindly asked to bring a blanket and chair.
