Free movie admission and other free activities to highlight Canada Day in Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — The City of Chilliwack says free movie admission, free swimming and ice skating, and Chilliwack’s first ever drone show account for just some of the Canada Day festivities in Chilliwack.
According to a post on the city’s website, Canada Day in Chilliwack gets underway at Evergreen Hall (9291 Corbould Street) with the Sardis Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast starting at 8 a.m. and going until 11 a.m., at a cost of $5/person.
There’s free swimming all day at the Cheam Leisure Centre and Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre starting at 7 a.m. and going until 8:30 p.m.
There’s also free ice skating at Sardis Sports Complex from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chilliwack Coliseum. Please note, skate rentals are an extra cost.
